Battle of Big Cypress Bayou (Jefferson TX)

Venturing Crew 1872, Longhorn Council, BSA, invites you to participate with the crew in this civil war living history event in Jefferson Texas. We will camp in period correct camp made of white canvas tents. You will be issued uniforms and firearms for the weekend. We will conduct a street skirmish in the City's historical area and a demonstration battle at a nearby farm. The Cost will be $20, plus a $10 fee to the event.  We will provide meals in camp. You can coordinate with the crew for a ride from Fort Worth on Friday night or coordinate at the rendezvous in Jefferson -TBD. We will return home Sunday late afternoon. Attendance is limited to Crew 1872 members and 12 participants, so please register on-line as soon as you can!
